Am I running too slowly?
Before I start, I feel like I must, as usual, praise this brilliant game and thank the devs for deving it (and EA for funding it I suppose 
) . Anyway, down to my problem.
After having played the game for more than two weeks now, and watching other people play, I've recently started noticing something: many of them seem to be running physically faster. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not running in slow motion, but there's definitely a difference. I used to think it was just me, but the more I look, the more I can see that this isn't a fluke.
I'm playing on PC, and I honestly don't seem to have trouble staying high on the leaderboards, and when I compare my dash time to somebody who appears to be running faster, it's the same: the time seems consistant with the person's speed. This is lucky as it means that I don't have a major disadvantage or anything. For some reason my speed will randomly decrease though, like I'm walking through mud, and sometimes it doesn't respond to my commands, but this is likely my old gen controller, which I should probably replace by now.
Has anybody else seen this phenomenon? I don't think it's a form of hyper smooth lag, as it's the same on low as it is on ultra. So any help would be appreciated, and it's not a game breaking phenomenon in any way, but would be great to feel like I'm a little faster ...

You think? I mean there is a BIG difference. I've honestly been thinking that it was a console thing, but you might be right. But I'll try it, and thanks for the advice!
