KrugerSec raided Noah's lair, killing and capturing all of the Runners there. So after the events of the game, why didn't Faith and Icarus relocate?

KrugerSec can attack at any time.

  • Probably because they're a lot safer now KrugerSec have
already invaded. You're going to be safer in a place that's already attacked because it's unlikely KrugerSec will attack again, when they think they've already captured and gotten rid of any Runner activity in said hideout.
You might also want to spoiler tag your post for those who haven't played the Fly Trap mission yet.

But KrugerSEC are well aware that Faith is alive. The developers probably didn't want to design a whole new lair for only two runners.

Which makes no sense for the final cutscene to show Faith and Icarus back at the lair. I'm going to tweet Christofer Ermgard about this.

I guess Faith is really relying on KrugerSec not checking back and Cat telling them not to go check.

Actually, that's a good point. I didn't think it through myself. Maybe Faith and Icarus just expected they'd be safe back at the lair since it's exactly the place KrugerSec (and players) would expect them not to return to?

They could have been attacked at any time even before the incidents of the game. The lair isn't exactly well hidden, is it? They weren't before because runners are seen as a necessary part of life in Cascadia, even by the corporations. And that holds true again now that
Kruger senior has dropped off the edge of the map and his successor isn't openly hostile right now
. The authorities aren't in any hurry to stamp them out, whatever the news reports say.

I thought they may have returned to the Lair in the comics. And did anybody else notice that Dogen moved too?

    Exordium takes place before Catalyst.

The old Lair before the one in the Zephyr Transit Hub. They never got raided by KrugerSEC in the old Lair.

Let's put our lair in the train station! No one will know we're here!!!
