Faith's Combat Skills

I was wondering, what kind of martial arts does Faith utilize in the game? I was thinking it could be some form of tae kwon do but I'd like a second opinion from someone who actually knows about this stuff. I've wanted to start learning martial arts for a long time now, and I was thinking maybe I could learn something like that because it looks cool and feels efficient.

  • Here's a cool video I just found of the 3rd person takedowns for reference:
  • I honestly think it's just martial arts inspired improv, I could be wrong tho.
  • It's a certain type of melee Tae Kwon Do. I have lessons and a lot of the simple 3rd person moves Faith does, we learn. Ex. The cork screw, or the spinning hook+ bolley kick. Of course, the developers implemented a lot of acrobatic moves into the combat to make it look more parkour-y.

    yep, no problamo (:
  • How do you trigger the 3rd person cutscenes? Is it only when you defeat the last person in the group? Also, how do you determine which finishing move she does? Does it depend on which move set you do in first person mode, coz throughout the whole game I only ever saw one 3rd person scene (so thanks for this vid, they were awesome to see)
