Will MEC Have 3rd Person View As A Settings Option?
I think the new character looks really cool and was wondering if this game will support 3rd person view for any of the game play. Mainly just want to see the character more while I play but also I have a hard time playing first person games as it's harder to tell where my character actually is and well I'm just curious if this view will be a supported option or not. I'd really want this feature personally it might be the buy or no buy factor for me so if it took a bit longer to add it I suggest you do so because there is likely more people out there like me.

ME has preferably been a first person game. Based on a mod that changed the original Mirror's Edge first person to third person, DICE might not have polished the animation well for it to be playable in third person, which is fair since it's not meant to be in third person. Plus, playing in third person on a parkour game will be especially hard since there are many sharp movements you'd have to perform.
Unless a mod comes out that changes the camera, which is likely, I don't believe there will be an option for that on release, at least, no interest has been stated for it.
Well if someone went out of their way to make a mod for it in the first version then clearly I am not the only one who would be interested in having this feature. If it only comes as a mod though that wont work for me because I want the Xbox One version because I do almost all my gaming from that console at the moment it seems to run a bit better then my computer because my computer is a few years old and it's running on the older i7 and can't handle some of these newer games that well and I don't have $1k+ to fork out on a new one right now.
I really hope they add a 3rd person view as an option it sounds like your not sure about if it is in the game or not so hopefully it will be in there guess we will just have to wait and see if nobody here knows the answer.
There was no 3rd person view in the original game. You might not have played any 3rd person games like the Tomb Raider, GTA, Saints Row, Gears, Mass Effect games but I have and it's what I'm good at playing all the games that only support first person I am terrible at them just because of the view. If you were talking about the PC versions mod for 3rd person then you need to wake up because that is a mod not a real view that was made for the game I haven't tried that mod but I saw video and it's clearly got issues since that game was not really made to support it. I am hoping to get the game for Xbox One so any mods would be out of the question anyways.
I just would like it as a secondary option, I know most people would probably prefer the first person view but if only 1 million people wanted to play it with the 3rd person view then it should still be an option don't you think. And if the old pc version has had over 1 million people using the mod then it seems like that should be added as feature to the xbox one version since it wont be able to get mods if they come out for the pc version.
Problem with creating it as a secondary option would mean a whole long long list of work to be added. As you seen in the mod for the first game that game was not built from the ground up to support 3rd person. This game I'm assuming is the same way so to add a 3rd person option would be a pretty big undertaking.
At least that's how I see it, but hey if they do make a 3rd person option more power to the players. It's not like they're asking for things to be removed, options are good.
