Need Help, Game freezes randomly every 5-10 seconds.
Hi, just started playing after the game came online at 9pm PST, unfortunately the game has been freezing every 5-10 seconds. Even the opening cutscene froze for 1-2 second every now and then then sped up to catch up. The game had my laptop on medium settings by default. Below is my NVidia Geforce Experience Laptop information:
Asus G751 Laptop (2014)
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 980M
CPU: Intel Core i7 4860HQ CPU @ 2.4GHz
Memory: 32mGB
Current Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz
Driver Version: 368.22
Microsoft Windows 10 Home
Mirrors Edge installed on the SSD portion of the laptop
I tried lowering the settings to the lowest possible and it still freezes every few seconds, when I increased it to Ultra, it was the same.
I tried disabling Origin ingame, no effect. I tried restarting the computer, no effect. My laptop plays Battlefield 4 at High settings no problem @ a constant > 70 FPS no problem.
Any idea how to fix this?
