Mouse lag...

For some odd reason, my mouse lags by 1-2 seconds when I play Mirror's Edge.
I have tried reducing the resolution from 4k to 1080p... but even that won't help.

I am running a GTX980ti, so it shouldn't have any issue... and the grapics run smootly all throughout.

Could my CPU be the cause of this?

Vsync is known to cause mouse lag in some cases, you can also try setting "Maximum pre-rendered frames" to 1 in ncp. Neither should cause issues that severe though.
