Can't get the companion app to sync

I purchased the game for my ps4 so my profile is my psn profile. I try connecting the companion app and it requires you to sign into your ea account and when I try an error comes up and it mentions something like my account doesn't contain the game. I imagine it's something to do with me not owning it on pc or something. I was hoping that by going on the ea/origin website and linking my psn account to it that would solve the problem but it doesn't. Any one else having this problem?

  • Same issue, but I did get the app to update once out of the 5 times I've tried by force quitting the app. I cannot promise this will fix your issue, but it might be worth a shot.
  • The reason for this is that your console's gamertag needs to be linked to an EA Account (and then you log into the app using that EA Account). If your ownership of the game is not being detected by your EA Account login it is either because you have not linked the gamertag to an EA Account yet... or more likely is that your gamertag is linked to an EA Account you are not logging in with. This could be because you are unaware you have it linked to another EA Account or you simply forgot the login credentials for the correct EA Account.

    You can contact support if you need assistance figuring out which account to be logging in with.
  • Looks like the app is working correctly for me now, I was able to go in and see the different unlocks last night. I don't know if it is working for everyone but I hope you all have luck.
  • Same issue here, support is useless can't get through to them...
