Invisible runner kit?

For a while I've been having an issue where the game tells me 3 runner kits available, but I only pick up 2. THen the "available kit" message goes away. Now I'm sitting on the map screen and I have a message fade into the screen saying 1 runner kit available... but even when turning off all map icons except runner kits, I cant fin any kits on the map. How do I find this mysterious extra kit? Pics included for reference.

Ugh. This is happening to me too. Anyone have a solution/explanation?

Look underground, toggle the map for underground.

I'm very early in the game lol. At any rate. I completed the back in the game mission, got another runner kit alert. And now they are both available back at the lair...so. Resolved but still no idea.
