Game folder on hard drive

Hi!
I upgraded to Windows 10 recently but didn't have Origin installed on the same drive as Windows, so the files were still there and I was able to run Origin. I preloaded Mirror's Edge Catalyst without any problems and based on the 23gb lower amount of free disc space on that drive I assumed it was there within the Origin folder under Origin games, but it's not. Also the Origin folder didn't grow in size either.
Today I played the game and had problems with the text appearing on screen so I found out that I would have to reinstall Origin. I didn't uninstall the previous one, I just downloaded the client and installed Origin (now on the Windows drive) and it finds the game files and I can play without any problems.

My question now is: Where the **** are the game files and can I simply delete the old Origin folder?

Comments

  • Nevermind, I just found it. A new folder called "Program Files (x86)" was created on the non windows drive and within that a folder "Origin Games" with Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
  • Use the /MIR switch carefully since it will be deleting files that do not match in the destination directory...robocopy
