[BUG/ISSUE] Ingame screens don't work

I'm having a bug/issue with the game and was hoping someone could help me fix it, or at least to know if anyone else is having the same problem.

Ingame monitors/screens, such as the one right at the beginning, or the monitors in the hideout don't work. The one in the beginning just flat out doesn't appear ingame, it never gets loaded. The ones in the hideout show the same low resolution texture that doesn't animate. The only way I even found out about this is looking at other peoples' videos online.

These are my current settings:
Texture: Hyper,
Lighting: Medium,
Reflections: Low,
Effects: Hyper,
Post-process: High,
Mesh: High,

I seriously doubt my actual settings have anything to do with this, seeing as this is quite possibly lore/story relevant. Is anyone else having this issue ? Anyone know a fix ?

  • Hi, I am having the identical issue as you do. I just uninstalled the game and reinstalling it. Will see if that would fix the issue. My graphic card is GeForce GTX 960
  • Follow up - I reinstalled the game, but the same issue persist. I have tried different graphic settings but nothing seems to work. I wonder if there are more people having this issue.
  • I thought something was weird with those super low res textures! So yeah, I'm having the same problem. Video settings make no difference.
  • Follow up - I unchecked the GPU Memory Restriction box under video and managed to resolve the issue. I wonder why that option would cause this texture resolution issue.

The client is running out of VRAM without it, and is culling textures. This is gonna happen a lot on low ram cards, (2-4gb) if you're forcing the game to run more texture detail that you should, (Ultra, Hyper.)
