My hardware specs:
- Fresh install of Windows 10 64-bit
- Nvidia GTX 980 4GB latest drivers
- Intel i7@4GHz
- 8GB RAM
1. During the EA/DICE/Frostbite logo I get 0.5 FPS. Then it loads and locks up the computer while loading and never gets anywhere. The music starts stuttering after a while too. Usually Windows can kill an application when pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete, but it locks it up so bad nothing happens.
If I let it sit for 1 hour, it finally segfaults and displays a DX11 error message about the hardware going away or driver crashing.
Other games run fine, so the drivers are not missing etc...
2. The one time I did get it to start, the menu text is so tiny on a 4K/UHD display that it is unreadable. Did anyone even test this once on a 4K monitor?
3. The slider to enlarge the text in the options (sitting very close to the monitor to read the text) did not do a thing.
4. The one time I got it to run, it barely runs 20FPS in UHD on default settings, really bad considering it touts 4K support. You can't expect people to buy GTX 1080, can you?
5. No PS4 controller support. Come on, even Steam's GUI supports this. Have you maybe heard of SDL2?
I have asked for a refund, it is the same all over again with bad PC console ports or whatever.
If you want help debugging this, let me know.
