*Spoilers* Impressions after finishing the story

I am going to be straight and to the point
Why wasn't this game longer? The whole thing feels like it was cut short. The characters needed a lot more depth to be interesting. Also, there were not nearly enough story missions. I felt like I was still new to Glass by the time the credits started rolling.
Why was Icarus so arrogant? I never saw how he was the "best runner yet" or "faster than anyone", or did I miss something? It seems like there should have been something to show off his abilities. The first game had the chase sequence with Jacknife, and that was pretty fun.

I loved some of the sinister things we were shown like with Elysium labs, or the mission where you help the test subjects escape. Those kinds of things really draw me into the story, even when it is a cliche story like this one.
One thing that really bothered me was how the final fight with Kruger was a cutscene. The entire time, I thought to myself "Wow, I wish that I was having this much fun". The combat system was competent enough to give us a boss fight, so I think that it was a missed opportunity.

Over all, it was a good game, but not great. It definitely lacked the charm of the first game.
There better be a sequel after that cliffhanger ending

  • Icarus and Faith build respect to each other througout the gamen, Icarus was like that at the beginning of the game.
But you were right about the fact that it was short and we couldnt get in depth in every character, but that means that the chance for a sequel is very big. There are a lot of open gaps at the end like: Ksec still has control and Black November still exists. I made a potential sequel post, would be cool if you show some feed back!!

  • I agree, while I loved the story there were some glaring problems that can't be ignored. The lenght was a major problem I didn't feel we got to know the characters enough before it was over. Noah didn't really need to die so soon before we even really knew him, I feel like the story in the beginning had good pacing but it started speeding and ended too fast. I was enjoying getting to know the characters but i didn't get enough. The main story needed to be longer, I hope there is dlc soon perhaps.
