Plotwise it should, cause at that point you get nodes, metanet, antennas , security chips and stuff... you basically should own the **** city, am I right?

I mean , it should at least unlock some sort of cutscene...

It gives you profile icon content. But you wouldn't grind a game for content like that unless you actually enjoy grinding it, right?
