I find that this game can be overwhelmingly difficult for some of those dashes. I had to attempt for 30 minutes and another 15 for load times on a dash that had a timer of 1.13 or so. Everytime I did the dash in any path practically I'd always be 5-8 second too slow.

I wish that some of the times in the challenge missions were balanced for regular players. Not everyone in the planet is an online leader board competitionist. I don't care if jimbob from Alabama, Japan finished a dash in .52 seconds.

I want to play the game the way I want to play it, casually, offline, and at my own leisure. Not do every single mission a thousand times to be the best in the world.

  • You CAN play the game offline
  • You don't seem to understand the implication is that the game, like Far Cry 4 is tailored and designed to be a leader board competition game. That's why every single mission gives you an online rating and standing compared to others in the world. This kind of cheap online modeling is one of the leading causes to the crash of any game. Most people in the world don't want to see their rating to everyone else on the entire world on how they performed.
  • I wish they'd just add 5-10 second to all the time missions (trials, delivery missions, etc).
  • If you're doing a player-created time trial there really isn't a basis for complaint. Even the dashes created by the developers are optional, and those should all be do-able if you don't care about your star rating.

I haven't done any of the player made races. I pretty much tried to turn off all community races, I just wish I could fully turn off community everything almost. Especially since there are always people in online games that make impossible challenges and people who cheat to win, like the person who cheated to beat a 53 second race in 3 seconds.

I'm only talking about the core game missions, not specifically the dashes but the delivery missions. Yeah, there are short cuts but when it takes an hour to find them after 500 retries, it's about as much fun as using a staple gun on my privates. And unfortunately you need to get exp to progress into the story and these side missions are the main way of getting exp.
  • I think a good way of doing it is to have the normal time trials in the game and the first time you complete it, will get you 1,000XP, after that, it turns into a repeatable time trial, which then is just about beating other people and therefore doesn't reward you with anything besides bragging rights.

This way is best for everyone, am i right? I guess EA didn't think of this eh? lol
  • That honestly sounds better than what we have now. What we have now isn't fun. The first few in the game were hard enough when I'd finish with 0-1 second left but now they're almost all impossible and only give 100-500exp.

The way i see it, the harder it is, the more rewards you should get, if not, then its not worth the hassle.
