The New Patch is making my monitors Blink Black.

I'm currently running with a GTX 980 all on ultra settings, and it was running fine before but after this new patch it kept on Blinking my screens whenever the game loads. Just thought I should put it out there.

Anyways found out if you put it on Borderless Window it stops that from happening, only happens on Fullscreen.

I'm getting resolution changes that weren't there before, between mission and initial start-up loads. Sounds like the same thing, although my image doesn't actually cut out - just a brief disturbance.

It may be some form of hot-fix to deal with other issues, such as the cutscene stutter, etc.

Update: okay, ignore me. All of the above fixed itself after changing settings in the video menu and saving them.

hmmm yes strange, after I saved my settings it fixed itself.

aaronlannister, what setting have you change please, i have try lot of change and the bug is always here

Since the upgrade I cannot adjust my brightness or fov . The screen just blanks out. Please check it out.

Yep same thing is happening to me, you have to play on Borderless Window.

980ti here, still getting screen blinking twice during loading and changing settings. i tried borderless fullscreen and it just glitched out. everything worked fine before the patch.

OK. I had the problem too. Annoying.
But I did something that solved the problem, but it's maybe something to do every time you launch the game.
When I am in the game:
- Options->video->windowed borderless.
- Save.
- Play few seconds
- Go to Options->video and come back to widescreen.
- Save.
- Problem solved.

That worked perfectly for me.

I have done this for about 4 times now, at the start, you will see improvement, but after some times, those issues remain.

Hope that will fix for you, but please, if that don't, come here to give us update on this.

Well, if all fails, backup and remove ME folder in Documents and reinstall the game. Cloud should fix the save files. Might help.
