Weird reflections

Hi guys,
I bought the game 2 weeks ago and noticed some pretty weird reflections throughout the game.
Firstly, Faith often has no reflection, and if she does, it usually looks quite weird with her hair bugging a little up and down and her mouth isn't moving when she talks. I also noticed that she pretty much only has a reflection in elevators and a very few other areas. In places like Plastic's Lair and other quite glossy areas she has no reflection at all, even though the glass might be reflecting the entire room behind her.

I also noticed some "fake" reflections as well. For example in one area the entire city is being reflected through a glass wall ( Faith has no reflection there either ) while behind her is nothing except a stone wall. I see those "fake" reflections occasionally in the game and not everywhere.

Those are quite trivial things but since this game is released in 2016, and it's heavily filled with glossy and reflective buildings I expected something more professional.

My settings are set to medium so no idea if those issues are fixed with higher settings. Thoughts?

  • Thank goodness I'm not the only one bothered by this. The game certainly feels unfinished in terms of things like this; when you're in an elevator, obviously the only thing you've got to do while you're waiting is look at Faith's reflection, and yet she looks very strange and her mouth doesn't even move if she's supposedly talking. (A lot of characters in game do the same- you can hear them talking over your intercom but if you look at their in-game counterpart they haven't moved a muscle.) Plus the game is super shiny and glossy, you'd expect more reflections, and a lot better in terms of how realistic they are. I agree, it's not a huge deal since the game itself is pretty good, but it makes the game feel unfinished and just kind of off. It's especially problematic in 2016, because the first game was so ground-breaking, this game feels like it got left behind back in 2010 or so, all because of little things like these.
