So the covert missions are just pathetic since it is impossible to both not be seen and reach the target within the time limit, if a group of guards spawn in your path. Maybe if they would give us more time so it is possible to detour if guards are in the way and also add more of a punishment if you get seen, the covert missions would make sense. Now, to complete a covert mission you have to either just ignore being seen or be extremely lucky with the guard spawns, which I think is silly and not the point of the mission type. Hopefully this gets changed, I dunno, just wanted throw that out there.

Even then, some of those missions can take more than one try to beat, but hey that's the challenge. Also, you can't really expect the game to tell you how you do it. games today are so easy, and you want a patch to make things easier...?
the mission briefings etc. could definitely be clearer in this regard. characters repeatedly stress 'don't be seen at all' when the real challenge is actually 'don't let them see you for too long'...
