Mirror's Edge Exordium - the comic [SPOILER FREE]

just finished reading and... 
Basically they made a comic based on something that could have been a set of m.e.c. missions: a couple of chases, a classic ME break-in mission, some fights, and explanations on why M.E.C. starts like that.
if we add the amount of audiologs, this situation kinda makes me think a fair chunk of relevant material (story and missions) didn't make it into the game for some rea$on. I mean, if that wasn't the case, why even bother making a comic: just put the stuff in the game.
