Texture performance issue

Hi all.

My issue is a microscattering of the camera, i should be able to play it at hyper settings without problems, but the only way to stop this is turn the textures to medium. Is there a fix? All dirvers updated.

Thanks for the help

  • Try turning off Origin in-game. If you're running it through Steam, stop.

Is the game installed on a solid state, or spindle? Can you get it onto a SSD if it isn't? Windows 7 or 10?

I'm running with the 1080 X and 8gb, with zero issues in Hyper. It's gotta be something with your config - that 1070 should murder MEC.
  • Also, Controller or mouse/keyboard?

If wireless on the controller, try wired. Also try with mouse + keyboard quickly to rule the controller out. (Have seen reports of similar issues with controllers in the last.)

Otherwise, may sadly just be hard disk caching. It's gotta be something in the setup tho.
  • Ok i will try with the controller/keyboard and the SSD when it comes. Thanks for your help :)
