I'm afraid to report a problem I did not have two months ago when I first played Catalyst (Windows Version, Origin).
Simply put: It doesn't start when I click on the icon, neither the Desktop shortcut nor the "play"-button in the Origin-menu. It is shown as being played, and also shown as a current process in the task manager, but it just doesn't start. It's almost like my PC forgets to open the full screen for the game.
Trying to run Origin or Catalyst as Administrator didn't help.
I also de- and reinstalled Catalyst AND Origin - didn't help either...
The only clue I have is that I can't run other Origin-games as well. So I guess somethings wrong with Origin then, isn't it?
My system is Windows 10, but I don't think it has sth to do with my system, as it was the same system when it still worked in early June.
I'd be grateful for any useful advice.
As you mentioned it worked before, did you have any recent update or changes made on your system? I don't have the game yet, but I experienced something like this before with another game. It turned out I installed new Nvidia-drivers and the game didn't respond to that anymore too. In that case, you'll have to make that update undone by uninstalling it or using System Restore to a point in the past.
Thank you, it worked - even not quite the way you recommended: I've checked my GeForce Experience software, and indeed, there was a new Nvidia-driver to be installed. After that installation, it suddenly worked again.
So in my case, new drivers don't hinder games from running - they enable them to run.
But thanks for pointing out to the Nvidia drivers!
