Got a code via email, isnt valid PS4 EU

Got a code, tried to reedem it and all that I got is "The Prepaid Card code you entered is incorrect or is no longer valid" . Tried another account ( US one ) and also same story. Tried both codes original and a "friend" one.

Is redeem code region locked inside EU or smth ?
Anyone else has same problem ?

Yes I have the same exact problem I tried both of NA codes and it said that exact same thing on my ps4

I tried again, it worked. I got US code. Reedemed on us account.

Maybe you got EU. I think I requesedt for EU code and insted got US one .
