Mirror's Edge merchandise!
As a huge fan of Mirror's Edge since the first game, I'm glad that Catalyst is getting additional merchandise! The original didn't have much in the way of merchandise (that I was aware of) outside of the graphic novel and the items that came with the game (T-shirt/Runner bag etc.) so its awesome to see some cool items being produced to celebrate the release of Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
The Xbox One pad looks gorgeous:

- hoping they do more of these to include some of the other characters too.
Both of the above haven't released yet, but the Mirror's Edge Exordium comic is out already and is pretty awesome (for those that don't know, it chronicles the events directly before Mirror's Edge Catalyst) :

I think it would be cool to see brand collaborations outside of videogames. How cool would it be for DICE to partner with a shoe brand like Vivobarefoot, which makes a shoe that some people use for parkour, but give that shoe a Mirror's Edge design?

Yeah beanies would be an awesome idea! As for the parkour shoes... I'm not sure how large the overlap is with Mirror's Edge fans who also parkour themselves? - but they could produce a whole range of clothing themed around it if there's reasonable demand.

I'd definitely like to see the runner bag return for a future collector's edition - especially as they're an item which not only looks cool, but serves a purpose too! I live in the UK so never got an up close look at the yellow runner bags which Gamestop sold with the original Mirror's Edge - were they not that high quality?
Eh, they are ok quality I guess. Mine hasnt withstood the test of time very well. It's been kept in a bag in my closet and has faded alot for some reason.
I have yet to see a good reproduction of the runner bag. It should look like the in-game model. The bag image you have attached isn't even close. Here's some concept art that closely resembles the in-game version. Notice the light-up beacon on the top, as well as hard skeleton underneath the bag that gives it shape and structure. It also opens differently.
I actually have a Mirror's Edge official yellow messenger bag! I am such a HUGE fan of the original Mirror's Edge that I ended up getting one.

i also have these 3 small figurines which are pretty cool. the only thing i really want is the statue from the CE, but the PC version did not have it for some reason. only the consoles. somehow EA decided that that australia does not need the CE for PC.
but i certainly would love some cool tshirts.
i have checked ebgames site (AUS) and i see you can get socks, a wallet (which i think looks ok) and lanyard and even a beanie.

thats sucks indeed. im still more upset about the CE not being available for PC. thats my major aggravation. the other stuff im not too hot on as i see on the site.
the shop offered me that too, but the problem is, that i would have to pay even more than the CE it self. a lot more. i would not have gotten much for the disc and adding the pc version on to it, would have cost me over 370AUD. thats too much. the CE alone is 300. the pc version is 90. so you see that i feel rather ripped off. than making a profit.
also, i got a better offer from origin that was more worth it since i got it cheaper there too. if you are a member on origin, you can play the game 2 weeks earlier and get it cheaper.
i will get it eventually but since i dont have work, i have to sit on the money.

i think i really really like the wallet, love when the reference is subtle and only certain people can get it.
much more to choose than ebgames in australia.
but i had a look at the wallet at my store. its a bit small and has no coin pocket. cards only. is also made of cheap fabric, which i know from experience and from my trade, that it wont last long. i did not get it in the end. the guy also told me he would not get it either because of the material and for not having a coin pocket.
but, i did how ever get a nice tshirt, black, that has that weird grid shape on the right body of the shirt and the games title at the lower left corner. at the left sleeve you have the iconic logo. even my mother likes it.
It's been pretty humid and hot here, so I haven't used it much, but on the days I have used it I've been using it much like a track jacket. (I'm sure I'll get much more use out of it in autumn!)

same here. it looked good on the web, so ive asked in the shop if they have it.
they had socks as well, but its to 90% made of polyester. no thanks. i prefer cotton. especially since i live in a tropical area, you certainly dont want anything with plastic on you. especially your feet.
i was hoping for more as well. im pretty happy with the tshirt i have mentioned earlier but i also like to have more with faith on it or something nicer. i just did a quick look on google and found this
