  • sadly, it happens a lot with reviews, only a well informed gamer (the minority) will see when a review is just bad or paid. hope the game is seeling well...

    on topic, I´m drawing my own runner based on me xD still on working progress, would love MP on DLC or most likely the next game, where you can create your own character and just run around with at least one person

    Dude that's friggin awesome! Love the patch and the loose clothes. It would be great if he had another colour scheme though, and a different type of tattoos to signify that he's in a different cabal. It would be great to see some more runners, with a different mentality and philosophy too (unless he's meant to be in the same cabal of course).

    YES!! Do it, i think they will really appreciate it to be honest. If these ideas are taken into a count, these also could be used for a future sequel maybe. I feel catalyst left a really big opening to a new game, and i still want to know where faith goes from catalysts story, i think there is still another story to tell, especially if that now

    I feel that this twist is extremely important, and i know that dice has mentioned many times that catalyst is a foundation for hopefully future games.
  • I think seeing other players in the map as there Echo, but a live version, would be pretty cool. I mean, without being able to actually see them in-game, the Player Blip has basically no function other than, yep, they're playin' the game. Sure you can see where, but it's not /that/ cool.

    Cool idea. Maybe not all over the whole map, but maybe you can like connect to a friend, or just do like dashes or time trials. Or just set a waypoint and go. I won't add this here because it's not really DLC material, but I'll add it to the Suggestions Thread.
  • Is July and people are still active around these forums??? Sweet bananas...Faith is not lost. I hope they make some DLC, even if it was some time trials, I'd gladly buy it.
  • Bonkers! A lot of good ideas...well I'll share some, even if its for DLC or another ME game. I need more faith.
    1) I think you guys should advertise some of you less loved franchises, I don't know, have some Dead Space easter eggs her and there. Like Issca's plasma cutter or his helmet.
    2) Speaking of Issac...how about a Necromorph Mode! That'd be sick! Faith was just watching some horror morvies or playing some Dead Space and she has a nightmare, and now she has to run away from those pesky Necros and make to the Ishimura.
    3) And speaking of running, would a combo system work? Idk like the faster you run, the stronger your hit, and as soon as you hit someone (in the heat of battle) it triggers a countdown letting you know that you have to hit another target, the more hits, the stronger your punches get.
    4) And since we're on the topic you could probably do some fun stuff with battles, like idk have Faith interact with something around her and trowe her at her opponents. She could like flip in the air, we get to target someone and slooooooow motion scene activates...or something like that. I think that'd make the combat more fun and those who complain about "whaaaaaaa the combat too hard" can have some other ways to dispose of their enemies...

    Really like some of these. The ideas for easter eggs are particularly awesome, but the more interaction in combat's my favorite. And yes, it would stop people complaining (though I honestly think that if anything, it's way too easy). I'll add the easter eggs to the suggestion thread, and I'm still tryna choose which thread I should put the combat on ...
  • I'd be up for story DLC, preferably with full-blown cutscenes and new characters. That's my #1 desired DLC.

    New locations also sounds great, but that could be implemented alongside the above (for example, add a new area with its own story missions).

    Really like some of these. The ideas for easter eggs are particularly awesome, but the more interaction in combat's my favorite.     Lol, good one... I miss events like those, similar to what Spider Man 2 had. Every single side mission, event, anything around open world in MEC seems so limited. If they just add events with varitety and matter of opportunity/depending on where you are, whether it's near a building which you have to investigate because someone told you that there are prisoners there or anything like that... That would give more "life" to the city itself. Like: the gridnode zones are cool, but once you've done this, it's locked and it seems like one of the few places you actually have to do something inside.

    Its rather off putting the silence of the devs..... (Probabaly as Battelfield is just around the corner)

    I feel with all the law they have built up around the game there should be both story DLC (Icarus story has been mentioned would be nice but something about faith would be preferable) and Map DLC as so much of Glass is shown on the map but unexploreable its less than 1/4 of the entire city that you can run in.

    I would also like to see some more pure multiplayer DLC similar to the time trails from the originally and a more traditional experience in the form of the games of tag and capture the flag.

    For Example on the long skinny rooftop with all the pools etc in Reggata bay. Have a flag at both ends and 2 teams of 4 or so runners first to 5 wins, have similar hitboxes as K-sec just run into them or light attack. This could even work in as some form of training for new Cabel members.

    While not a perfect game its still a very good one that needs more investment if the initial game which has a cult following although it wasn't a commercial success is unique enough for a sequel and the fan base is there. Catlyst was much more of a commercial hit and therefore should get more investment.

    I can only hope as I love the series and would like it to become a regular IP (every 5 years or so with DLC/Expansions between every year)...... One can Dream :)
